After the record-breaking snowfall Southern Ontario received on Monday January 17th,
PHC would like
to remind tenants to make sure your furnace and hot water tank vents outside of your unit are clear of snow and ice. This makes sure carbon monoxide does not build up in your home. Please see the attached image for an example of what your vents may look like.
Please also make sure to keep your downspouts clear of snow and ice. This helps avoid flooding and ensures proper drainage.
